Incorrect Short Term Operating Reserve Availability Windows

What is happening?

ELEXON has incorrectly published the Short Term Operating Reserve (STOR) Availability Window times on BMRS since the implementation of BSC Modification P305 in November 2015.

They were published in local time with a mixture of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and British Summer Time (BST) and should have been published in GMT only.

This error has meant that during summer when BST is used in Great Britain, the Imbalance Price Calculation has used the wrong STOR Availability Windows times.
Will Imbalance Prices Change?

No. Correcting this error would not change the Imbalance Price for any Settlement Period.
More information on how the Imbalance Price is calculated can be found in our Imbalance Prices guidance document.

How will I be impacted?

There is no impact on BSC Settlement processes, ELEXON will correct the current STOR Availability Windows published on BMRS to show the times in GMT only.
Is there anything else I need to know?
