There will be a period of planned downtime on the Balancing Mechanism Reporting Service (BMRS) from 18:00 (GMT) to 22:00 (GMT) on Wednesday 31 October 2018. This period of planned downtime is required to implement the November 2018 BSC Release.

For more information please refer to the ELEXON circular EL02900, which is available at:

https://www.elexon.co.uk/documents/industry-news/elexon-circulars/el02900-planned-downtime-required-for-the-november-2018-bsc-release-deployment-2/

Further to the above, the planned downtime for the Balancing Mechanism Reporting Service (BMRS) for the deployment of November 2018 BSC release, has now been successfully completed ahead of schedule at 19:40 (GMT).

The Settlement Calculations have restarted and the BMRS is now running with the changes from the November 2018 Release implemented. The backlog of data is being processed and we expect the BMRS to be fully recovered by 21:30 (GMT).
