Defaulting of the Teleswitch file for 5 June 2018
What has happened?
Yesterday, 5 June 2018, we issued a News Item. We advised that the data files received from the Teleswitch Agent relating to 4 June 2018 contained a number of anomalies in multiple Teleswitch User areas. One of the two monitors for the Droitwich transmitter is back in operations but, as anticipated yesterday, this has affected the data for 5 June 2018.
What action has ELEXON taken?
The Supplier Volume Allocation Agent (SVAA), in accordance with BSCP508 ‘Supplier Volume Allocation Agent’ and in agreement with ELEXON, has defaulted the missing Teleswitch files to the most appropriate file for the same day type to run the Daily Profiling Production (DPP). These are the Teleswitch instructions for Settlement Day 1 June 2018.
Will further days be affected?
We expect the next files to be valid. If not, we will continue to keep you updated with a further News Item.
Do I need to take further action?
No, however if you have any questions please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
