Scheduled infrastructure maintenance for BSC Central Systems: Monday 4 June 2018
What is happening?
Our service provider will be carrying out a scheduled upgrade on their network infrastructure where the BSC Central Systems are hosted on the 4 June 2018 from 20:00 (BST) to 23:00 (BST). This could result in temporary issues with network connectivity.
How will I be affected?
ELEXON anticipates little or no impact on the BSC Parties, however in some cases users may notice intermittent service, in particular with applications where they have persistent connections, including Balancing Mechanism Reporting Service (BMRS), ELEXON Portal and Energy Contract Volume Aggregation Agent (ECVAA) web service.
What do I need to do?
You do not need to take any specific action and we will perform system checks following completion of the work.
