A planned power outage will take place between 18:00 (GMT) Friday 24 November and 18:00 (GMT) Sunday 26 November 2017. Please note these times are approximate and the length of the outage will be dependent on the maintenance work required. This is an ELEXON IT systems outage and will not affect the BSC Central Systems.Why is the outage required? The outage is a result of a building shutdown and takes place outside of working hours. There should be minimal impact on BSC Parties and us.How will I be affected? During the outage, the networks will be unavailable; therefore, we will be unable to receive TIBCO messages, which are used for calculating the Balancing Mechanism (BM) Prices. As a result, the BM Prices for Settlement Days Friday 24 November 2017 to Sunday 26 November 2017 may be less reliable than usual. This will not be corrected until we have data from the Interim Information (II) run for these Settlement Days.
